I don't take that as a knock what so ever, everyone is entitled to their own decisions and taste...that's the beauty of creativity and making a vehicle your own.

I need to get this grille done as well, but being Mother's Day I'm taking care of my 2 kids while my wife rests a little (2nd kid is only 2 weeks old). I'll post up some pictures once I get the grille peeled and ready.

Do you want a black grille or just the inserts? I swapped out my '12 crew grille for the '13 Citadel version and got the old one collecting dust. If you need it let me know.

I honestly only need the grille trim, which is either the painted or chrome piece...the inserts and shell I have are in really good shape.

What do you want for it? (PM'd you)

Haha, busy but wouldn't have it any other way...I'm not a TV person so I need things to keep me busy.

Just remember, take your time, getting that first edge to appear so you can start peeling is very time consuming and requires a lot of patience. After that it's just making sure you're careful not to dig too deep when peeling, or you'll run the risk of shaving off some of the ABS underneath.

Update... now that the filler primer has been applied and sanded smooth, then shot with 3 coats of primer sealer I'm ready for some color in about 2 hours.

Thanks, it's turning out pretty good. I'm working on stripping the chrome off the grille right now but it's turning out to be a LOT harder...all the rounded edges make it tough for sure.

Color coats were done this morning, 3 coats of brilliant black pearl. I really don't like pearl paint since you can't wet-sand it, that has to be done after the clear goes on in a few days. Also, DupliColor Perfect Match paints are acrylic lacquer, so they are tricky to apply correctly and have turn out "ok".

What the F, why are the attachments so limited on this site? Am I missing something? Every time I want to put new attachments in a thread, I have to delete the old ones.
