Just wondering . . .
. . . if swapping out the cloth seats in my '12 Crew for heated leather seats from a wrecked '11-'13 is as easy as it sounds. A few bolts to remove, unplug the electrical and shazam, there it is.
In my simple mind the only stumbling block would be the seat warmers, my '12 doesn't have them so it also doesn't have the switches. Those are easy to get but the big question is: Is the wiring there -- in short, did Dodge use and install the same wiring harness for all models even if some of the terminals are not used?
I helped restore some 60s and 70s cars and noticed that in many cases the wiring harness contained leads for unused accessories, ie. glove box light, underhood light, radios, etc.
Like I said, just wondering . . .
