I am actually getting a Granite Rallye package this week (like how the wheels match the paint and everything flows real nice), then I am getting a Katzkin leather package that is black with silver stitches and I will get Rallye embroidered into the front headrests too.
What about suspension? R/T has performance suspension and steering and is lowered by 20 mm. Also has HID headlamps and LED DRL.

And then throwing in everything on top of that would be the power liftgate, leather seats, remote start, etc.

Yes, you lose a lot of options for 10K less in price.

All three rows? Do you have an estimate for the install or are you doing it yourself?

I believe the RWD versions are:
V6: 25/18/20
V8: 23/14/17

AWD models:
V6: 24/17/19
V8: 22/14/16

Overall, a 3 mpg difference between the two. Hemi does take midgrade though.
I was looking for AWD numbers..Thank you!!

Very true, but the manufacturer recommends 89 in this engine. While it's not required and that means you can put 87 in it, some have claimed knocking issues with the 87. At the end of the day, you've spent north of $40k on a vehicle. It doesn't make much sense to skimp out and save a few bucks by going against the recommendations.

At 24.6 gallons and the typical $0.15 difference between regular and midgrade, that's a $3.69 difference per fill up.

Your hemi may run fine forever on 87 or it may not. Are you willing to take that chance to save $4?

Even without knocking, you will likely see a decrease in performance and efficiency with regular gas and may cancel out the savings due to the poor fuel efficiency/mileage.

WOW KNOCKING CLAIMS ...Doubtful maybe a little power loss since the Knock sensor will tell the PCM to retard the timing to compensate.
The 6 is adequate for most to drive around it is not going to replace a V8 Period

Ooh, and to think I might get beaten off the stoplight by another Durango... that would be HORRIBLE :-P

So getting this thread back to it's title, can someone point me to the issues with the V6 tranny? thanks.

Issues like what? I haven't experienced any except the eco mode mapping for the tranny sucks. Turn it off and it's a completely different driving experience.
