This one is the American Thunder system, not the Force II.

So after looking all over the cheapest I can find this system was $1,053 with free shipping from autoanything.com, plus a 10% discount. Searched a little more on eBay and found it listed for $1,053 or make an offer from performancepeddler.com.... Made an offer for $900 and they accepted so its ordered.

From what I can tell this is the exact same system as the American Thinder with the addition of the 2 resonators. When I get everything installed I'll report back on the install/fitment/sound/drone.

From the clips I have heard, the Force II sounds 10x better than the American Thunder system. Without the resonators in the American Thunder system, it seems to be a bit on the raspy side, I'm not sure I could live with that.

I can't wait to find out. I like the loud exhaust and would probably prefer the American Thunder, but after dealing with the drone in my other truck that's a path I'm trying to steer clear of. Hopefully this one will be loud exterior and tolerable interior. The only thing that concerns me is that Flowmaster describes it as mild/ moderate. I would describe out stock set up as "mild". This will be an expensive waste of $ if it isn't much louder than stock. We shall see

This is why my first exhaust mod is going to be a $150 muffler replacement...if I don't like it, it wasn't a complete waste of money. What size piping does the Force II use, I'd assume larger than stock, maybe 2.5"?

Same here, for 150$ you can cut out the suitcase muffler and put in an x pipe

Yeah I believe it's 2.5 in and 3 out.

I had considered going the route of just cutting out the suitcase but not quite sure how that would sound and if it would drone any. The video Flowmaster put up on YouTube of this catback is what sold me on it. Either way, we shall soon find out. I guess mine will either convince some to go with it or steer clear of it but somebody had to be the first to travel the path lol

I did go back and notice this system uses the 50 series with resonators. The American thunder series is 40 series without resonators. The resonators are what's eliminating the in cab drone, so should it turn out to not be loud enough, cutting out the 50's and replacing with 40's and having the resonators could be the perfect set up

Another member already did the delete of the suitcase and it sounded real good in the video he posted. No drone since he left the two rear resonating mufflers on.

what was the verdict here lol? I just ordered the force II and yes same reasoning, would rather spend a little more and have it a little quieter instead of extra drone.. there is nothing worse lol. hopefully this turns out ok. the video does sound good however hard to really tell from a video compared to real life on the highway
