Default Now a Water Pump?

Had my AC lines replaced a few weeks ago at 28,000 kms. Now I need a new water pump. Think this truck may be getting replaced before warranty ends.

Wow Harv, luck is not on your side with this one. Am I wrong or did you have other problems earlier in your rigs life? AC lines and water pumps are problems on the + side of 100k miles. Maybe your poor trucks PCM thinks it has 128,000kms! JK

You thought you bought a super cool SUV, but in reality the Dodge Durango is a TIME MACHINE, in the 60's -70's the life expectancy of a water pump was 25-30k miles. They were easy and quick to replace.

Pop he hood on that Durango and look around for the Flux capacitor!

Fullslp - The AC lines were the first real issue. I have the dirty exhaust at startup on occasion but am going to leave that since I hear the fix hurts the performance. I'm waiting to get something on he brake booster since I have a rub on my passenger front side now as well and don't want the dealer to tell me it's not warranty.

Yeah, I see guys posting about getting the brake letters but nothing here in Toronto.

BTW - Just read your list of cars (the IROC made me laugh from back in the day). I was cruising the dealership and the Ram 1500 is a really nice truck. Tons of room. If I had something to haul I'd really consider it.

That car is straight up crazy.2850lbs, 400hp, built tranny etc. and $7K in suspension mods. The front springs are 900 psi and out of hundreds of performance vehicles I have driven (Ferrari, Lambo, Viper, Z06) over the years it out handles them all. Truly the only car that I fear and can't get any of my friends to drive it. Track day special.
