So I have an SXT but got the Rallye trim.

So I am a huge fan of the look, and was contemplating throwing R/T Badge on mine. I am going to be overhauling the tuning, exhaust and intake and it may be able to get up NEAR the R/T horsepower and performance. Also gonna add some tints, powder coat the factory gray 20"ers and make em black as well as adding some decal stripes. Do you guys think it be corny/stupid/wannabe to give it an R/T badge to complete the look?

It's your money and your car. Do what you want and what makes you happy.

If you are going to add all that stuff anyways, why not just get the R/T and add nothing.

I say de-badge it all together and keep 'em guessing!

Thanks guys!!

As for just getting the RT Originally: I had just graduated justanded my first job and got rear ended and totalled my old car. I hadn't yet had a pay stub so it still showed my salary as working part time and I needed the car ASAP an couldn't save up. So I didn't have the finances. I may switch in 2017 and grab up an RT as long as they don't keep those LED Taillights. Those things look hideous to me. Haha

Absolutely, unequivocally, yes. It's not an R/T. Don't badge it as one.

And there's no way you're going to get R/T horsepower out of an SXT engine. I don't care what you do to modify it.

I thought about an R/T badge as well, but decided against it. I have an SXT (no rally package) and I am happy with all badges gone. Still get a lot of looks.
