Default Cat Back or Mufflers?

Just wondering those of you who have changed your exhaust, did you go with just swapping the mufflers & resonator delete or go with a cat-back setup? I'm thinking Flowmasters. I can get the cat back for $652 or probably get mufflers installed with removing the resonators for maybe $300??

Try just replacing the suitcase with an x pipe and keeping the stock resonators.

You have 2 in and 2 out with the suitcase muffler and then the two out each go into their own resonators(mufflers) right after the axel

OK, so the cat-back basically dumps the suitcase muffler and replaces the spot where the resonators were with 2 mufflers.

Curious, by doing the Gibson Axle back, do you retain the factory suitcase muffler and this is just replacing the resonators or do you have to have someone weld a piece of pipe where the suitcase went?
