Cat Back or Mufflers?
Axel back is really just replacement resonators and tailpipes
If I did an axel back I would nuke the suitcase and put in an x pipe.
But why not just nuke the suitcase first for cheap and see how you like the sound before spending any more money? This is what I will be doing and another member has already done it and got a great sound with no drone
You need to be able to weld.
Ok thats no problem... What does everyone think that deleting the muffler and installing an x-pipe and leaving stock resonators on would do? Deepen the sound and make it a bit louder? Would it be too loud like the resonator delete kit from mufflex? Any input would be awesome. I am just on the fence because I do not want to install this and it sound like a rice burner or just be obnoxious and raspy....

Thanks Wash. But that is on the HEMI... Guess no one has done it on the PentaStar yet....
YouTube video!
Here's my 2013 RT with K&N CAI and Mufflex rear delete. It still has the suitcase. It's loud, can drone, has set off car alarms and has turned heads when Trans kicks down. I even had another Durango owner pull along side and ask what exhaust and loved the sound. My neighbors may disagree. That said it makes me smile every time I drive it. If the link doesn't work search youtube for Durango mufflex and it should be first video. Still image is of a long empty straight cars on right.
