Mommy was ok enough to walk herself to the rear seat of the troopers car. To my knowledge she's still in jail
That little girl deserves sooo much better. Thank God she's ok. What the FRICK is wrong with people.

I showed my Body Guy these and he said that he feels the estimate will Climb easily into the $20K plus range.
That front rail is really bad and takes a lot to fix right
Lets hope it all works out, her insurance should be buying you a new D based upon damage + diminished value

Small Overlap Frontal Test. Your accident occurred right where they initiate this crash test which by the way vehicles are failing left and right. This is real world proof of the safety of large, well constructed vehicles that society is trying to convince us that we don't need. If you were in a Smart for 2 you would not be with us today. I think it's a mix of good build quality and luck bro. Glad no one was seriously hurt.

No 'physics' reason why the airbags should have been deployed. By not deploying - he was able to maintain visibility of the road and control of the vehicle.

An airbag firing will at minimum: block the driver's ability to see, knock the hands clear off the wheel or break a wrist if the driver has a strong grip or poor positioning.

By seeing the impact coming and steering away, the impending full frontal impact with instant deceleration was transferred to a more lateral impact with a longer period of deceleration.

For the sake of the toddler, I'm glad he was reactive enough to steer away. A full head-on collision may have had a different outcome.

Dang nice recovery. Could've been so much worse.
I see the front impact with the grill and fender.
You say the quarter got hit also?
You got rear ended too?

FINALLY!!!!' Installed my flow masters today. Very simple and straight forward install with "normal" tools. Took about 2 hours or so. There's no clearance issues and everything went in as it should. So far really haven't noticed enough drone too even mention. The truck isn't obnoxiously loud by any means but has a deeper note than the stock system and a bit louder. Plus I think I dropped about 100 pounds off the truck removing that stick set up........ That system is a beast!
