Best Performance out of the 3.6L V6?
I have a SXT Rallye (which already is listed at monstrous 295hp over the normal 290hp that SXTs have)
I really want to get this thing performing top notch. Just looking to see what you guys have used or added or removed. What kind of gains or positives you got (HP/Torque/MPG/SOUND/ETC) I have noticed a considerable jump using 93 octane over 86 already (my MPG has gone up from between 15-16 (in NY city traffic) up to about 17-18)

V6 Engine
"This engine is designed to meet all emissions regulations and provide excellent fuel economy and performance when using high-quality unleaded “regular” gasoline having an octane rating of 87. The use of premium gasoline is not recommended, as it will not provide any benefit over regular gasoline in these engines."
If you use 93 octane then get the Diablosport tuner. It supposedly adds more power. Which makes sense, the [insert competitor] engine quotes HP/Torque based on 91 "premium" and it drops when using 87 "regular".

"....*PENDING: Legal for use in California" --
That supercharger kit is the only thing out there right now for the V6 that actually adds in more air and fuel. Tuners claim about 10% improvement (see above about Diablosport tuner) but I wouldn't bank $$$ on it as they're all really just gimmicks.
Otherwise as someone pointed out just get a HEMI V8 ("No replacement for displacement"). Considering the $6K+tax price for the supercharger kit, it would make more sense to just get the V8. You could do an engine and transmission swap (parts from junk yard about $2,500 and up + a lot of labor/time) or just trade in the car for the V8 version and save yourself all the $ time and effort.

The V6 engine is specifically tuned for 87 octane.

And sorry to say that mpg tests are spurious at best. No average person has to ability to properly duplicate a test conditions on different grades of gas.
My experience was not scientific at all. It involves the same drive to work m-f and driving around long island on the weekends. Nothing more than 20 miles max. And I have seen a notable increase. I guess I can look into trading it in. My problem is my budget is tight as it is. I have a bout $24k left on the loan for this '13. Anyone have info on the finances of doing a trade in from v6 to the v8 model?

Ok, I just have to get in on this because I have a few of the mods mentioned. First of all, I agree with everyone else, unless supercharged, no comparison to the HEMI. Even still, won't be even close. With that said, I have the intake, HT tuner (diablo did not have a 2012 at the time) and a Magnaflow catback exhaust. Sounds nice, drives nice and I am happy with it. Yes I would love a HEMI, no question. But I needed fuel mileage at the time and 21 MPG around town is not bad, 26 MPG going to the beach.
