USB Ports and Rear Ent Sys
I've scoured the owners manual and am still baffled. The USB up front can be used to play music, only through the primary speakers. The USB in the front console can only be used as a charger. The USB in the rear console can only be used as a charger. So what good are the USB ports that face the rear seats? They don't seemed to be hooked to anything, and aren't listed as "charge only".
And the rear entertainment system doesn't seem to be able to play any music unless it's hooked to the AV inputs. What about listening to the radio, or SD card music, or Sirius, or bluetooth, or any other source? On my 2011 the rear system could do almost anything. Is this another example of pay more and get less?

Got all that....just wish the kids could use it in the car ;-)
I'm guessing you don't have older kids who think they have to perpetually charge their cell phones. Mine won't ride in our other cars since they don't have rear USB plugs to charge up. That's what they are for. Wish the 3rd row had one.
Correct. And without Backseat TV anymore, I'm looking to get as much source to them as easily as possible. It's even more unfortunate that the rear entertainment system can no longer access any of the main radio sources.
You can put a usb car adapter in the rear 12v outlet an easily reach the 3rd row. Hard to integrate with the folding seats unless it's by the 3rd row cup holder which would be right near the cargo area 12v port anyway.
