I have a 2014 Dodge Durango. First week of driving, a rattling/vibration noise was heard. Sounds like it is coming from the dash area. At first I started off hearing it when it was in 5th gear, and slowly pushing the accelerator. Now I am hearing it also when I slowly push my brake as well. It is not a constant noise, but rather annoying!! I do hear it every day.
It has been to the dealership about 4 to 5 times. Each time they said it was the positioning of the cooler lines that were vibrating. they moved them and tacked them back in many different positions. Nothing helped.

to me it almost sounds like there is something loose that is just vibrating away when the engine is in a certain gear. I have no idea. Any one else have this problem??

 

2012 models have a recall for the drivers side upper hood bolts. they make the same dash rattle sound u describe. I had the issue on my 2013 so I dont see why a 2014 cant have it too.
Search the forum for the dash rattle threads and recall notice theres plenty of them.
