You told me personally that you had the second set installed by the same guy, he's a buddy and let's you help so....? How about a current center of wheel hub to fender lip measure and let's compare to a stock one. Maybe yours sat low from the start because it looks just like every other lowered durango out there.

So Matt what you are saying is yours dont raise up the vehicle after riding down the road a bit ??
Where is Road Magnet located?
I believe the factory shocks cause most of the problem but you must be doing something different

No mine don't raise up. Neither does anyone elses. I know Justin wants that tire tucking look and that's just not possible with the way the suspension is designed. RM is in Maryland, 4 hours from Justin if I recall.

I don't want the tire tucking.... I want a 1.4 inch drop in rear and 1.2 inch drop in the front as advertised.

When first installed, that's what I achieve. After 3 miles, it's gone. Load leveling shocks kick in!

People may be satisfied with the drop and not complaining, but it doesn't mean the numbers match up!

Steve, when I get a free hour, I will post all my conversations and it will be clear as day as to why I can't match what they claim. I'm getting tired of redalty trying to put this on me, when I know exactly where the problem is.

Here are my measurements ground to fender.

Stock measurements:

Front Right: 32 7/8"
Front Left: 32 7/8"
Rear Right: 33 1/4"
Rear Left: 32 7/8"

Post Install"

Front Right: 30 5/8"
Front Left: 30 3/4"
Rear Right: 32 5/8
Rear Left: 32"

Yielding:

Front Right: 2 1/4"
Front Left: 2 1/8"
Rear Right: 5/8"
Rear Left: 7/8"

I'm a bit confused... Excuse me as I am a Noobie and just signed on but....

If the problem is with the self leveling shocks then why is it RM's problem? If they are being installed on D's (and many other vehicles) without self levling then obviously they are doing something right. The coil spring is so simple that there is not much to screw up. It's not like RM can build an "active" coil that reacts to the self leveling. Isn't this just a simple fix of installing non self leveling shocks?

I apologize if this has been covered to death but I too want to lower my D R/T and want it done right without issue.

Exactly right, impossible to install incorrectly, especially since they are labelled front and rear!

But Road Magnet keeps saying its install error!

Like I said. I will be starting a new thread with the conversation I had and everyone can see for themselves!

Road Magnet isn't willing to admit what the problem is, but redalty did the R&D and already told me what the problem is which is why I'm not sure why he keeps defending Road Magnet and making it sound like I'm an idiot.

There's more to installing the coils than plopping them in. Justin you have told me that you have had the same shop installing them, and torquing the suspension with the suspension unloaded. That can affect the ride height. Those numbers are also the ones you have posted the entire time but I know that it has settled some, all new suspension parts do. What's the current center of wheel hub to fender lip measure?

It may be possible to adjust novomat leveling shocks so they don't pump up as much aftering driving a few km. Would give you more low at the back and less at the front.
