Exactly.

I really never hoped that a bad situation could have worked out in such a positive way.

Now I just a hope it doesn't take a year to collect the money in full.

Was the harder thing to do but not having to worry about tension between he and his wife towards my wife and kids is worth it.

Tried to be the bigger man in the situation. Loosing my **** wouldn't be productive and with my line of work will get me into more trouble.

As far as how much I will get the good fixed for is irrelevant. The $1500 becomes his way out of an Assault and criminal damage charge. He's lucky to have it. It's my business what I do with it.
