Default Heat doesnt come out of vents?

My fiance said this morning she put the heat up to 80 and no heat comes out of the vents. The heated steering wheel and seats work still but no heat out of the vents. The defroster still works but no hot air out of the vents.

Any help would be great, thanks alot. The truck only has 7k miles on it

If she had the system on "auto" heat may not flow out of the "vents" on the dash..."auto" has the vehicle controlling where the heat comes out....might be at the floor etc... Does the heat come out of the vents when you take the system off of Auto?

if it's in auto it will not come out of the vents and that's pretty much in any car with auto climate control. I think it's somewhere in the range of 74-76 degrees that it directs it through the floor vents, remember heat rises.

You might want to make sure she was adjusting the front climate and not the rear. My mother in law did the same thing when she borrowed the durango. The back of the cabin was on full blast and hot... I started laughing my *** off when i figured it out.

My car starts out in the cold freezing your a-- off by blowing cold air on you for the first 5 minutes. Then it finally figures out it needs to do heat instead. Somewhere else on this forum I was told there's a TSB for the '14's. I need to find time to take it in so they can tell me NPF ;-)
