whats your top speed
I don't usually drive much over the speed limit, but when I was called and told my daughter rolled her car, I drove my Hemi D about 100MPH most of the 15 miles to the accident scene. Stupid move, and as it turns out it was unnecessary since she and her friend walked away even though the car broke in half.
Most of the times I tend to limit my speed at 130 Km/h (80 mph) on the highway, to reduce driving stress and fuel consumption.
In my setup (metric) the Automatic Cruise Control goes up to 160 Km/h (100 mph). I find that at that speed my 2011 Durango is still quite comfortable, even if I do not push it to that speed very often.
I have gone up to about 200 Km/h (125 mph, German Autobahn, no speed limit) and at that speed, I would only go for short stretches. The comfort level decreases considerably, not to mention the fuel consumption that skyrockets.
All in all I find my DD fully enjoyable in safety up to 160 Km/h (100 mph), above that limit I do not like to go.

You guys need to keep playing need for speed on your game console. Keep that crap on the track and off public roads. It's not really cool to brag about reaching triple digit speeds on a public road. Maybe when you grow up you will realize how much danger you are putting yourself and other drivers in. Haha. Joking.

My LE Durango will do about 110 for miles....lights and siren.
With the LED's in the grill and the one on the visor people really move out of the way.
Its solid and comfortable at that speed too...sustained over miles.
Just got the R/T last Friday and haven't had a chance to stretch her legs yet

Any other special equipment on that ride besides the lights and siren? Suspension upgrades etc.?
The AWD works great in the snow...It was about $24,500 or so on the state bid for LE agencies.
I have a 2011 DD V8 and i am from germany. Here we have highways with no speedlimit, so we can drive as fast as we want. My DD is limited at 125 mph that is 208 km/h and i drive it often. The fuel consumption is extraordinary but the fun is great. Short after i bought the DD a dealer removed the limiter and the DD does 235 km/h that is about 141 mph. This is no fun and my wife wanted the limiter to be reinstalled, so i did. The brakes are to weak for the car. I drove about 30.000 km and now i have to change front brake discs a second time.

I got to approximately the same max speed (speedometer reporting 209 Km/h) on a flat segment of the A5 near to Frankfurt.
But I have a V6, I guess my speed was "naturally" limited by the engine
