Default Auto headlight issues

My headlights have not been consistently turning on automatically lately at night. Where is the light sensor on the car? thinking it may be dirty or blocked by something.

Also is anyone aware of how i can adjust headlights to point down more, im blinding people. im thinking dealer has to since its electronically controlled.
btw, my D is the citadel with 100,000km, a 2"lift kit, and a 32inch light bar mounted on the front bumper infront of the grill. dont think those would interfere though.

Mine is located on the center of the dash by the window. It's a small black dome..

I have not messed with the headlights yet. But I have known on my old durango there was a set screw on top of the headlight in the hood that would adjust the angle of the light
