Why on earth would you use the dealer for an oil change? (Unless it was free). Plus, my guess the dealer would not let you bring in your own oil and filter. It is a very easy diy job.

my dealer washes your car...and they check for any unseen issues that could require warranty work

That's nice. Personally I would not let them touch my car for anything besides warranty work.

some times that's right, hate to say it but I'm losing faith in my dealer ...they could not find my magnum for a whole hour after they said it was ready...I get a lot of free oil changes when they goof up...

I don't let the dealer touch mine for oil. It's the junior guys doing the oil and they make mistakes. Even on simple oil changes.

I have free oil changes for the first few years but have never used them. Not worth the hassle to drive there and wait and for only synth blend.

Do yourself a favor and put on a Fumoto/qwick valve and do the changes yourself. Use a large ziplock to catch the filter and spillage.
