Default Brake Booster Recall

I had my Brake Booster replaced today because it failed the test. I have been sitting on this recall since summer, however recently i noticed i wasn't stopping as fast as i should, I found myself much closer to the car ahead of me than i realized, kind of like an automatic reflex. You think to yourself that is closer than i thought it would be. Very recent i had the pedal go all the way in and was not stopping at all like i should, i had to pump them quickly to get good pressure. I do have 109 k on my 11 DD Express and time and Michigan winters must have done its work on it. Moral is don't wait till it gets this bad to fix it. The good news is i did get a brand new booster with the seal installed so i should be good for another 200,000 miles.

zimmer54, yes that sounds like the TIPM fuel relay not activating.

I have an appointment friday morning for my TIPM recall and they're supposed to check the Brake Booster. said they would expect it to be a couple hours.
