Hey all. I purchased a never installed 8.4 u connect unit of ebay its was a Canada model serial number so I was ok with the u connect not working. I replaced my 5.0 radio with this unit. I plug in the new unit and said radio code needed please start vehicle. It came up SRT Jeep when I turned key on and it went through the cycle and its a 100% everything works . I paired our phones set up my sirius and the vehicle remembered all the settings I programmed in for heat and AC and park assist .. I got the radio and bezel for under 350 and sold my other to a u pull it parts for 75.00. The radio has to be new never installed in vehicle for it to work. Canada model uconnects are about 1/2 price as North American version.. Just thought I throw it out there if any one wants to upgrade..
