Default 2012 Durango R/T sputters at higher speeds

I just purchased a used 2012 Durango R/T and I am experiencing a sputtering at freeway speeds when applying more gas to increase my speed some. It has been doing this since I bought it a month ago. Did not notice it when I test drove the DD before buying. Anyone have this same issue? Is there a fix or service for it? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I would also suggest confirming that the air filter is clean, and then dumping a can of Seafoam in the tank.

Second the sea foam. It may have just sat too long at the dealer or got a bad tank of gas

New K&N CAI installed already (my first mod.) and 2 tank fill ups since buying the DD. And now I have added gasoline additives to help clean the injectors. I'll run her for awhile and see if the sputter goes away.

Thanks for all the input. Between all of us, I hope to get this taken care of, before having to take the DD to a dealership for service.

Again, Thanks!

Update: The additives seemed to have worked (for now). It's running smoother at freeway speeds and not sputtering when I give it some gas. I will continue to add additives at every couple of fill ups, just to keep DD running good.

Thanks for the help and suggestions.
