Default CAI - Advise please

Dear friends,
i am about to order a CAI for my 3.6L DD
Please advise me which brand should i chose?
I have googled a lot and my opinion is K&N, but most of you guys are more familiar with the question, so pelase advise me.

And else - did anyone use diablo or any ohter tuning device on their DD? I need help with that too.

Whatever is cheaper. There's not much difference between the major brands.

Don't pay rediculous amounts of money for a name brand when you can buy a cheapo eBay or Amazon intake that does the exact same thing, which is nothing but look and sound cool. You will get much better bang for the buck with a tuner.

Thanks for advice! I googled the tuner thing and as i understood, diablotuner doesn't make much difference on 3.6L engine. Is that true? or should i try?

Can't tell you that. Superchips made a world of difference on my 4.7 Dakota.

i bought the AFE with the Blue filter...fit and install was perfect...it does give it a louder growl under acceleration which was noticeable at first but now wife doesn't notice (complain) about it any more since she is used to it. the wrinkle black finish blends perfect with the rest of the engine bay. On long trips i have noticed 1 to 2 mpg better but that could be due to engine breaking in as well as I am at 36000 miles now
