Hellcat Durango
A Cherokee SRT9 already starts at $64,000. A hellcat would push it very close to $90,000 I would think. I still have yet to see a Cherokee SRT8 "in the wild" so to speak. I can't imagine they sell very well. Bumping that price up another $20,000+ isn't going to help matters.

What's an SRT9????
Seriously, the hellcat powertrain can be slapped into any of Chrys/fiats rear drive platforms. There is a ton of hype right now but the real question the manufacturer has is WILL THEY SELL. If you add 20gs to a platform with this powertrain will it sell? The Grand Cherokee would have to use the bentleys 8HP90 transmission with its integrated AWD system which is a cost increase over the rear drive applications but still should keep it under the German SUVs and be faster.

Scott over at jeep garage just posted that his sources say that it will not be revealed at the auto show tomorrow and that his info suggests that the 6.4 will still be the sole engine and that "if" they do a hellcat Grand Cherokee or TrailHawk that it's likely to be during the 2018 platform change do to packaging concerns. We will see.
Wonder if they'd see fit to do something to make a Hellcat JGC or Durango any better at cornering. I realize that any Hellcat is going to be more of a straightaway machine, but if they don't lower them at least then you're going to see a lot of them being rolled spectacularly.
