Default reset questions

This may have been addressed in a different forum post, if so i haven't found it. how do you reset the TPIS so it recognizes the wheels properly after a rotation?
Also, not that it had chimed in yet, but how do you reset the oil life left meter? i changed my own oil, but really didnt care about the meter at the time. thanks in advance for the help.

if you mean the 'Chnage Engine Oil' notification that pops up when the sensor says its time to change oil... there's a procedure I found on this forum or in the owners manual, can't remember.

its something like turn vehicle off, turn to Accy, wait for idiot lights to clear, slowly press and release accelerator within 10 seconds, turn vehicle off.

2011CrewLuxSC,

Just for reference, I have included the oil life resent procedure found in the owner's manual:

Oil Change Reset Procedure

1. Without pushing the brake pedal, push and release the ENGINE START/STOP button and place the ignition to the ON/RUN position (do not start the engine).

2. Fully push the accelerator pedal, slowly, three times within 10 seconds.

3. Without pushing the brake pedal, push and release the ENGINE START/STOP button once to return the ignition to the OFF/LOCK position.

NOTE: If the indicator message illuminates when you start the vehicle, the oil change indicator system did not reset. If necessary, repeat this procedure.

Pretty sure he meant the Tire position indicators in the EVIC for TPMS. That being the case, the process is very simple.

"Your vehicle was equipped from the factory with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that turns on every time you start the engine.

The TPMS Relearn Procedure for the Schrader 20398 original equipment tire pressure sensor is very simple and will require no programming, relearn, or diagnostic tools.

Your vehicle will automatically learn the new tire pressure sensors after driving for 10 minutes or more above 15 MPH."
