Default Chatter/shudder in reverse

I have a 2011 AWD Citadel and am experiencing some chatter/shudder when reversing at full turn. Can't tell if it's an issue with the rear diff, transfer case, or transmission. Any ideas/thoughts?

Normal behavior. You have an AWD and when you reverse with the wheels at full lock you begin to bind up the front end.

Not harmful if you don't do donuts in reverse, but why would you need to make such a tight turn in reverse?

I've never noticed it before, but it happens when I pull up to my driveway and back in (which necessitates a full turn). It only started happening within the past 6mo, and I've backed into my driveway every since I've owned the vehicle.

Just to follow-up on this item, I brought my vehicle to the dealer to address a recurring transmission issue (thump/clunk in 1st gear). Despite having only 60k miles on the vehicle and no history of towing, etc., they insisted on changing the transfer case fluid.

I'm happy to say that this resolved the "chattering" issue in addition to the thump/clunk problem with 1st gear. So, in case anyone else experiences either of these 2 problem, try changing the transfer case fluid.
