The wife drives the Durango primarily but today I drove it to run errands and I am feeling some clunks that worry me. Somestimes on startup i feel a bump as the engine starts. Motor moubt?

Going from park to reverse, CLUNK heard and felt in the floor. Neutral to drive, smaller clunk.

My last grand cherokee with IFS was known for weak front diff bushings.

Any experiencd here? Something specific I need to say to the dealer to get it addressed?

That's exactly where I put mine.

Mid two random dudes could figure that out on their own, why couldn't dodge?

Yep. There is a TSB about this and just had it done not too long ago.

Yeah, no clue. It wasn't rocket science, that's for sure.

Recalls:
#1 Fuel pump relay TIPM
#2 Brake booster shield thingy
#3 Sun Visor (They say they dont have the parts?!) I have read that I should avoid this one?

Warranty Stuff:
#4 One of the rear shocks is clunking again. I had one of the rear shocks replaced at 10k miles. I'm not sure if its the same one or the other one. I'm going to push for two new shocks.

#5 Furthest right passenger side a/c vent is slipping out of its proper position slightly. By 1/2" or so.

#6 Front end seems to be clunking a bit. Hard to tell if it is the back sounding like the front...

Zero other issues with the Durango. My wife drives it daily and still loves it.

Anything else I need to have looked at or fixed before 36k rolls by?
Dropped the Durango off Thursday and picked it up today, Saturday.

TIPM relay recall done, brake booster recall done, sun visor recall done. No greasy fingerprints on the headliner. Thank you Flower Motors Dodge in Montrose, Colorado.

They also did a few flashes. SAS, PEM, PCM. Any insight on what those were?

They reinstalled one of my A/C vents that was loose and replaced my HVAC blower motor. It acted up over the winter one time and was noisy for about 30 minutes. I havent had any trouble since but apparently they found something wrong with it and replaced it.

No luck on the clunks. COULD NOT DUPLICATE But they seem to have lessened or diminished after this trip to the dealer. Oh well. Placebo affect.

Still very happy with our Durango. Effortless cruising and passing power with the Hemi and room to haul all our crap.
