When I picked up the D last Thursday I asked the service writer if he could hear the clattering in the engine. Wasn't much. My fault for not opening the hood to hear better. Anyway, we'll find out tomo if it is the idler pulley. I wasn't trying to actually see something with the video. Just capturing the sound from different angles. To be continued. BTW he said hemi's do have idler pulley issues.

 

Well, now we know what a bad water pump sounds like at 34.5k miles. In 51 years of driving probably 15 to 20 owned cars for about 1.2 mil miles, never a bad water pump till now.......
