Default Fuel relay?

Hi all,

2012 R/T - two things

First, this morning when I tried to start up, it just turned over and over without stopping. I pressed the start button to stop it. On the second try it started right up.

Second, this evening when I shut it down, I heard a hiss from the rear drivers side like a fast tire leak. Once I figured out it wasn't the tire, I find the fuel tank was vibrating ever so slightly. Started up, drove it and it stopped.

My question is: is this our fuel pump recall? I'm on the list at the dealer but if I'm developing issues if like to get fast tracked on the fix.

Thanks!

I have the V6 model but your first description is what happened to mine, it was like the fuel pump never started up and it was trying to start without fuel. My dealer did the bypass trick and it's been perfect ever since.

I never had the issue where the fuel pump was stuck on.

Yes. Fuel pump relay recall. It's unusual to get both symptoms. Most got the fail to start from no pump and a few had dead batteries because the pump didn't shut off.

You managed to have both things happen.
