Question Seat Covers with Heated/Cooled seats

I was thinking of getting seat covers for the front but I'm not sure if that's recommended with the heating and cooling. I do use both settings so I don't really want to not use them.

Does anyone have a decent price recommendation for seat covers?

If you use both settings, why would you use seat covers. If you go that route, I would get something that's easy on, easy off. Seat covers will not hurt the function of heat/cooled seats, but does render the use of both features pointless.

I bring my two German Sheps with me a lot. I want to try and prevent rips and tears from their nails. I've tried blankets but those never stay in place when they're jumping back and forth from the front.

Can't you put them in the back instead of having them jumping all over the seats while you are driving? Does not sound too safe.

My gosh! I just asked if any one has a recommendation haha. They do not jump in the front while I'm driving so don't worry about safety. The car is parked and the break on in case anyone else is worried about safety issues

Any kind of cover you put on your seats will reduce the heat transfer from the seat to your body. But I doubt that the seat heating system can burn out because of seat covers, unless you forget it constantly on. And anyway its pretty pointless to heat your seat with seat covers on it, because you are going to get little to no heat.
Moreover, since your dogs will stay on the back seats, this is where it makes most sense to have seat covers.

I would not put seat covers on the front seats, unless you fear your dogs could occasionally jump over the front seats (granted, while the car is parked). If this is the case, then go for the seat covers, and forget about seat heating. You could still somehow enjoy seat ventilation though, if your seat covers let air pass through.
