17 Inch wheels for winter
Hi,
I've searched the web and couldn't find an excact answer. So here goes. I have a 2015 Limited with Blacktop package. This package comes with 20 inch wheel. I want to run winter tires and was wondering if I can get away with 17 inch steel wheels for winter. Any fitment issues?
Thanks

Measure to make sure you don't run into fitment issues with the brake calipers.

Also have to make sure the diameter of the wheel+ tire is the same (or at least close) or you will run into speedo and odometer accuracy issues.

The smallest standard wheel for a 3rd gen D was 18 inches from the factory. I don't think 17 will fit.

The front brake rotor 350mm (13.75") & caliper will not fit a 17" wheel

You can alway get 18'' rim, like the ones they use in the SXT models.
There are lots of good winter tires for the 18'' rims, 265x60 R18.
