Default New Remote Start question

I have a 2013 Durango SXT, didn't come with factory remote start and I've been thinking about adding it but had a few questions.

I'm hesitant about going with an aftermarket brand, when I had my 2011 Durango I had a hitch added and the wiring for the lights wasn't done right and set off a chain reactions of warranty hassles for me. (my headlights/taillights/signal lights would randomly go out) -it was resolved by having the hitch wiring removed. So I'm a little reluctant to go with aftermarket simply because i'm approaching 36,000 miles and will be dealing with my Max Care Warranty and understand they may not be as flexible. So that's one question - should I worry about it with the Max Care or should I just go with the dealer installed/factory kit?

If you are using a Mopar branded kit and it is being dealer installed, you should have no issues
