Default Recalls

Well, I finely brought my 2012 Durango Crew 5.7L to the Dealership to have the three recalls done. When I got home and shut the engine off the Easy Entry/Exit seat did nothing. I got out my Owners Manual and tried many times to reprogram the seat with no luck. Has anyone had this problem and could this be related to the fuel pump relay mod? Also they said that they did the brake booster recall but when I looked at the booster there was still dust on it as if it had never been touched. Does anyone have a pic as to what the booster should look like after the recall is done? Thanks

I haven't heard of any easy entry/exit concerns being caused by the fuel pump relay recall repair, Auggie. Did it work properly when you entered your vehicle at the dealership? Was this the first time this has happened?

Yup, it sure did and yes this was the first time that this has happened. When I checked the truck in I shut off the engine and the seat and steering wheel did there thing. When I picked up the truck the seat was way back so I hit the #1 button and nothing happened. I then manually adjusted the seat and steering wheel ect and went home. In the garage I shut off the engine and nada nothing. I moved the seat back to get out. A few days later I tried to reprogram the seat. I got the #1 button to work only but not the rest. Any suggestions ??

Did you re-enable the easy entry/exit seat in the EVIC menu?

Might have to take it back and ask the dealer.

Mine stopped doing the exit thing once (2011 AWD Crew) and I ran the seat all the way back, then all the way forward and reset my presets (1 and 2) and it started working again.

If roogie's suggestion doesn't work, I would suggest taking your Durango back to the dealership that performed the repair to check with them about this.

OK, Roogie I will try that and get back to you. Yup, DC I already have an appointment for 12/09/15 at the original Dealership. Thanks.

Default Brake Booster Recall

Check your brake booster and see if it has a black foam type tape around (where the two halves lock together).
