2011 Dodge Durango Power Window
Hello....
Today the drivers side window of my 2011 Dodge Durango went down but will not go back up (all other windows operating correctly from both the drivers control and individual controls). My husband removed the door panel to access the motor which is making noise and working. To be sure he removed the passenger side door panel and tested the passenger side motor on the drivers side, both motors are working and making noise, but will not operate the drivers side window (to go up, will go down). What else could be making just the drivers side window not go back up, again it will go down by hitting the switch but will not go back up. I appreciate any insight anyone has on this issue.
Thank you very much!

They used to be driven by a plastic track that was bolted to the window and had teeth all down it. The gear on the motor will engage the teeth on the track and make it go up or down. After a while the plastic would get brittle and break. Not sure if they are still used today, but if the motor is working I would look at the track. Good luck.
Is your door switch bad? If you tested the motors that'd be my next guess.. Our driver's side power window switches seem to only work if you pull them up or push them down harder than what I think they should.

Thanks for the responses. That is kinda what I am thinking. It being the switch. It is weird because every other switch works on driver side (which has all 4 windows with window lock, mirror adjustment etc) except window up only for driver side. I took apart switch and everything looks clean. I know the motor is good because I tested it on the passenger side, like my wife said above. I want to clarify that I had both motors in my hand and not even attached to door and window gear. They both work up/down on passenger side just not up on driver either one motor. I can't interchange switches to test it because driver side is much bigger because it has all other options
Could I have a bad door module instead? I can actually hear the clicking sound inside of the door module when I press the window up switch so wouldn't that rule out the switch being bad? It clicks with the same sound as all the other windows the door motor just doesn't turn that "up" direction. Please keep in mind the motor is pulled off the door and I have blown out all harness connectors and they all are/were clean. I just wish the was a bad motor and easy fix. It is really frustrating me.
I have a similar problem. However the front passenger window does not roll up or down with the drivers control or the one on that door. In order to get my driver window to work i have to press the mirror adjustment button first then hit the window down or up button. It does not go all the way up with out having to hit the switch multiple times. door locks do not work from the drivers side either. I've replaced the drivers side control but the exact thing happened. The drivers side seat warmer has never worked but I'm not sure if that is related or not. I'm not really sure to go from here. I was thinking about getting a PCM but not sure if that is what module controls the window. Thanks
With your comment about needing to press the mirror adjustment button to get the window to work makes me suspect you have a ground issue somewhere and pressing the mirror switch button completes the ground through the switch or mirror motor. I would certainly not invest in a Body Control Module (BCM), Driver Door Module (DDM), or Passenger Door Module (PDM) yet. Plus I'm pretty sure you'd need to program a new/used module to work with your vehicle. If you have an Android (I think you can get it on iOS as well) I'd suggest you download AlfaOBD and pick up a good OBDII Bluetooth dongle so you can monitor if the BCM and door modules are detecting the window button presses and if the modules are able to control the window. Plus, if you determine one of the modules is the issue, you could program the replacement via AlfaOBD.
If you're comfortable with a multimeter, test light, and reading wiring diagrams, you can do much of the diagnosis using those as well. If you don't have access to the wiring diagrams, post back and we can probably get you what you need.
