Default Head rests srs

When I bought my Durango a couple weeks ago it had head rests DVD installed they cut the wires for the SRS headrest wires. So I got the factory headrest from the original owner and riped them apart got the module out of them. Do you guys think I can just rehook them back up. Also how long should I let the vehicle sit with the power removed from the battery before starting this task.

NVM. Just realized you stated headrest, not side. I thought the headrests only had the spring loaded active head restraint.

They are spring loaded but they are connected to the SRS system through wires. I will post a pic of the module wen they finish uploading. I am trying to figure out to rewire them or just buy new ones but I can't find the part.

I figured it out. If you want head rest DVD just take out the module for the head rest. The head rest Need's to be tripped to remove. And just plug it back in don't cut it, it's lot more work
