ID which cylinder P0304
I have a P0304 misfire code and was wondering which hole is number 4 on a 2011 Durango 5.7 hemi. I thought it was second from the front on the passenger side. Friend is telling me it is second from the front on the driver side. So I went and moved the new coil pack. I am kind of second guessing though, can you guys help a newbe out and confirm?
Appreciate it and happy to be posting on your forum. I searched and couldn't find the exact info I was looking for, sorry if I used wrong termanology on my search and this is a brutal easy question.

On your Durango the cylinders down the driver's side (in the US) will be cylinder 1 at the belt end of the engine, followed by 3, 5, and then 7 at the firewall. The passenger side will have the even cylinders, running front to rear as 2, 4, 6, and 8. So what you thought would be correct.
You could always unplug the coil to the cylinder second from front on the driver's side, start the engine, and confirm you get a misfire code of P0303 to prove you have the correct numbering....

Awesome, thank you so much guys!
It is my neighbor's Durango, going to have him stop by tonight and swap the packs out again, luckily it is very easy on this truck, takes about 5 minutes total.
