Default Rubber Mat Wind Deflector question????

I want to buy a whole set of rubber/weather resistant mats for my 2015 Dodge Durango. I was going to go with WeatherTech Laser Measured Mats, with side window wind deflectors, plus front hood wind deflector package. Total was around $750+ (I had a rear mat and the dog barrier thrown in their for good measure). WT has a lower end package that is not laser measured. They do not extend up the sides of the floor walls. I still think this is around $500+.

I have seen Mopar sells a set for around $120 (front/rear no third row). Weathertech runs around $258 (includes third row). I do believe WT are nicer, though the Mopars look like they would do the job. Not a fan of just flat rubber mats - especially during bad weather. I've already dirtied my rugs all over the place.

What have you guys done with floor mats. Go cheap or expensive? What about hood deflector - go with or without? The Durango window looks raked aggressively enough to deflect bugs and rocks. Though I wouldn't mind having the hood deflector to attempt to protect the hood paint job from rocks.

Has anyone found a wind deflector that mounts to the roof just in front of the sun roof. I noticed wind buffeting noise even at low speeds. Not sure if anyone open the sun roof at high speeds - though I believe the noise would be unbearable. BTW first time in my life having a sun roof.

Thanks

Jerry

I ended up going with the Mopar set. It's a great fit in the front but the middle mats move around a lot. Probably because they are individual to each side and not one long piece. I talked the parts shop down to $100 for the set.

I'm still happy with them for that price. And they are branded with a Durango moniker which is nice.

Thanks for reply. Will take a look at the Dodhe OEMs again.
