I am trading in my 13 Citadel for a new 17 Citadel. Does anyone know if my current headsets for the DVD player will work on the new DVD player? The sales guy wasn't 100% sure. I have 3 kids so I need to buy at least one more if these don't work, I would like to avoid doing that if I can. I am also moving away from the Hemi. The newer 8 speed tranny with the sport on option felt like more power to me. I am super excited.

 

Can't you try them out on one sitting on the lot to see if they work?

I got the Billet silver. We don't have any 17's in our area yet, so I can't try them out.

You just ordered a 17???? I went to three dealers in here in NYC and not one has an ounce of information on a 17, let alone taking orders for one. This is very confusing.

 

I went in looking for a 16 and the sales guy told me to find what I wanted I had to order one. So I said ok how long do I need to wait for the new 17 and he said those are the only orders they are taking now, that you can't order a 16 anymore anything that gets ordered now is automatically a 17.

 

There is no information released by Dodge yet but marketing supposedly starts in September. If the dealer told you you can't order the 17's yet he's lying because he has 16's he wants to get ride of or he's misinformed/too lazy to check.

I don't know who this guy is but he seems to have inside info about what's coming up at Dodge. Check here for 2017 details: Jeep Garage. He's been spot on for every model year Durango and Jeep so far.

 

Thanks for the info! I was a bit uneasy ordering something sight unseen. I am a touch and feel and drive kind of person so I have been second guessing myself. I really think I am going to be happy with it, the 16 I drove was great and there aren't a ton of changes to the 17.

 

Once again I spoke to a dealer and was told they're still taking orders on 16's, not 17's yet. I really hate this process.
