Just curious if anyone has done the LED upgrade for the interior vanity and entry lights? I recently did my 96 Ram and I was so impressed that I wanted to do it to the Durango. Just curious how hard it is for the install. Thanks!

 

I've converted all the interior lights in my Durango to LED. I had to order surface mount LEDs of the correct color temperature and pinout for the MAP lights. The only one I left alone is the yellowish one that shines down on the shift ****. I didn't want a cold white one for that.

If you're good with a soldering iron and know where to buy the LEDs, it's not horrible. The LEDs that have the right pinout for the front overhead console are obsolete, but I was able to source 50 of them so I would be willing to part with a few.

The bulbs that are plug and play are pretty easy so I won't go in to those details.
