Default 2017 Mopar CAI fitment

Trying to find out if the Hemi Mopar CAI part #77070041 (WD & WK) will fit the new 2017 Durango Hemi. I have gotten mixed feedback from Dealership Parts Dept. and Mopar's Website. Has anyone tried to install 1 yet???

I saw posts of people confirming it fits on a '16 so I would say, yes it does.

If you didn't live on the complete other side of PA, I'd tell ya to stop on out.

Well it fits with 1 exception the tube support point is not there. Since the 2017 has no belt driven power steering pump the air tube mount point is floating in mid-air. I'll have to fab up a bracket from the new idler pulley (where the power steering pump was) to the CAI tube. Hopefully Mopar revises the CAI to fit the 2017+ WD & WK2.

Ahhhh got it. Ya there should be a way to get that stabilized. Good luck.

I bet when they come out with the new design, they have that bracket adjusted so that it bolts to the idler pulley. If you or if you got a friend that can weld, seems easy enough to cut that bracket off and fab a new one in no time.

I guess that was the only thing I didn't think off. The newer DD going to electronic steering rather than mechanical power assisted.

Sorry sir, hopefully you got it stabilized by now.
