Default 2014 durango key fob

I got a warning that the key fob battery was low so i went to the store got a new battery and changed it in the parking lot. Know the car is saying that there is no key fob. is there something special that has to be done after changing the battery..FYI i am stuck in a parking lot on a sunday...i need help ASAP!

Probably need to reprogram the fob to the car. Which requires either a dealership, or, another key fob, already programmed to the car.

I've changed batteries on both fobs without problems. I think that perhaps it was not correctly installed, try removing it and re-installing.

Does it work to lock and unlock the doors? If not, as someone else mentioned, the batter may not be installed correctly.

If you confirm your battery is properly installed, your owner's manual should tell you where to position the fob to at least get the Durango to start.
