Default Replacement Headlight Bulbs

I have a 2014 Dodge Durango R/T. It has the Bi-Xenon HID headlights. I just noticed that my driver side is out. I have done some researching and just got more confused then what I was. So my question is, do I just need to replace just the bulb or the whole headlight? I have seen a little of both ways. When I look in my manual it says the bulb replacement is a D3S. When I have searched for those I have noticed they are priced from $30 all the way to $160. Of course I would rather go the cheaper route but I'm just worried they won't be the same as the one that has been it. Also, should I replace both of them? Seen where a lot has said to do that so they are more evenly matched.
Please, any kind of help and advice is greatly appreciated!!!
