Aftermarket offset
I did a search and most of the threads were a few years old not really answering my question. The stock wheels (mine 18x8) have a +56 offset and most of the aftermarket wheels (18x8) that fit the Durango have an offset of +35. Does this make problems in the day to day driving. Anybody running +35 offset wheels have pictures to show how they sit on a Durango. The tires will be the stock 265/60/18.
I see I screwed up the title of the thread a little, but I find it hard to believe that no one has put aftermarket wheels on the 3 gen Durango. From what I have been researching the wheels will stick out .880" and I feel like that will be too much. Anybody have pictures of their aftermarket wheels and a down the side picture at that?

That and the fact every other person has a Durango now. Wanted to complete opposite direction of everyone else. They will also be much better taking it on the beach come summer time
yea they are getting pretty common at this point arent they?
actually the one guy i works with swears heavy lugged off road tires are a good way to get stuck faster on the beach over a highway tread, the off road tires dig you a hole faster is his claim, iv never been on the beach so idk personally, just sharing what iv heard.
i live across the bridge in NJ, and go out of my way to avoid the island with the crappy roads being only one reason lol
The key to driving on sand is to air down the tires i go down to about 18psi. You can always tell who hasnt aired down cause they drive down the beach and you can hear they pretty much have it floored and go no where. But if you properly air down you pretty much float on top of the sand.
