Default Wits end with 2012 Citadel

I am hoping beyond hope someone will have the magical answer for this problem with my 2012 Citadel. The problem has been intermittent but when it happens it becomes frustrating.

The key fob with lock and unlock doors and work correctly for a few weeks then suddenly the fob will be unresponsive. Durango will be locked and pressing lock, unlock, and any other button doesn't do anything. I will have use the emergency key inside of the fob to unlock the door which sets off the factory alarm. However once inside I press in the brake and start the vehicle and the alarm turns off and everything is back to normal.

So after a few times of this my wife and I started leaving Durango unlocked. However when doing this the problem shifted from door not locking or unlocking to not starting. Press in the brake and push start button and nothing. No rhyme or reason as to what makes it start working again but for a while i would open door and slam it back shut and everything would light up as if some magical switch turns on and allows me to start vehicle.

Ive tried changing battery, pulling back the prongs inside of FOB, and anything else suggested. But I haven't seen anything online with exact issues as I'm having. Also
its been at dealership 3 times and they've said they can't replicate the problem or find anything wrong. They've "restarted the computer" whatever that means. Yet problem
still remains.

Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

2012 Durango Citadel 5.7 AWD if that helps.

Edit: It doesn't matter which FOB it does it with both which leads me to believe is something in vehicle.

That's the problem with intermittents..... If the dealer can't make it do it, they have no way of knowing which part of the system is breaking down....... One of the pitfalls of having more computers in your car than on the space shuttle......

I would check the ground wires and connections to the TIPM (to make sure they are full seated).
