Default 2011 DD map update

I have the 430n radio and needed a map update, I had done an update of uconnect to the 50xxx black UI for the system before the map update. now with the new USB and micro flash update I get the error PND did not update and can get no further. I tried to do this twice, do I have to go back and start the update process from the beginning? with update 22xxxxand newer?

thanks in advance for the help

bob

Just to let you know I have the 2011 Durango and I also did the download to update the radio and had the black background. In 2016 I purchased the map updates and it installed without any problems but it changed the background colors to the original blue. You may be having a problem with the new flash update. My radio worked perfect after installing the new map update but unfortunately they are still way behind the times. I just use google maps on my phone now. Good luck with your install.

After talking to Garmin Support, it has been determined that the sd card didn't have 2 files needed to update correctly, it has been returned to them for replacement.
