I am going to lift my truck. When I do, I'd like a place to store a full size spare (full size meaning 275-65-18 tire) other than inside the D. I thought of a roof basket with tire mount, but they guys at the car wash might make me remove it when I pass through. Then I saw this thing called a hitchgate, but the mounted tire will block a large portion of the back glass and rear view camera. Any suggestions would be great...thanks!!

 

You may be able to fit it in the original spare location. The full size spare for tow equipped models is a 245/65R18, your 275/65R18 is only about an inch and a half extra diameter and just over one inch extra width.
