Default USB port not working

I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this. Just picked up my 2018 Dodge Durango rt from dealer Monday. USB ports in front console are not working. They did work when I got the car Monday. Any suggestions.

Take it in and use your warranty.

It could be a blown fuse, but as mentioned above, the dealer should take care of this issue for you. If the fuse blew and you do not know of a reason why, then you'll want them to look at it anyway.

We definitely want you to take it back to the dealer, cabb0tt. Send me a direct message if you'd like to escalate your inquiry to a Case Specialist. They'll work with you and the dealer toward a solution.

Hi Cabb0tt,

I was just wondering how your USB problem was resolved? I bought a 2018 at the beginning of this month and the front USB ports have never worked (unfortunately, it took me a couple days to discover it). The dealer has had it in the shop twice now, but they are no closer to getting it fixed.

thanks.

Usually in cases like this you have to create a folder on your USB called "music" so the software knows what it is looking for

It turned out they ended up replacing the entire multimedia hub (even the back USB ports wouldn't charge). They never could find out the specific problem - but it's been working fine ever since the replacement.

I also have the same issue in my 2017 dodge durango sxt, theDASH USB PORT AUX JACK MEDIA HUB SD CARD READER hub lights up at night, but i does not charge the phones,i pushed the media button to change the source. i can see the usb, aux and sd card option is there, but i push the buttons and they don't light up to switch on my option screen, the bluetooth works fine i am beginning to think it is the complete hub that is not working period. i am thinking of removing the center console to take it out and replace the part but it is a last resort. i bought the car used about a year ago and they only gave me a 4 month warranty on the SUV...so i am wondering if there is anything else i can check. i have the 5.0 uconnect touch screen radio....thank you.
