Default 2018 Summer vacation in the books - fuel consumption

From eastern Kansas to Savannah, GA and back. 2017 GT AWD 3.6L

Mostly 70-75 mph except of course Atlanta, way better numbers than my 2011 AWD Crew 3.6L.

Best vacation car we've ever had, hands down. Didn't buy it for fuel economy but it does the job well,

2313.8 miles - 26.4 mpg

Looks great! OTOH, are the MPG numbers from the truck's computer or did you do it with pencil and paper. My experience is the computer is off by about 10 percent, i.e. the computer says 24.2mpg but the old school method say 22.1mpg. That (Chattanooga to Baltimore at 75-80mph) was with a 3.6L '12 Crew with RWD.
