I posted earlier about the battery in my 2011 DD Crew. Earlier this year, the battery tested (twice) that it was weak and likely nearing end of its life, although I was not having issues.. It was the original battery and got me to 125,000 miles with NO issues. Upon checking prices at various places for me to do the work, it turned out that the Dodge dealer's price in Florida (with coupon) was the best and they did the work, so I had them replace it for around $200 and did not have to hassle with this. These are more expensive batteries with a longer service life than the typical lead acid batteries.

Because the battery is located inside the car under the front passenger seat and not subject to the extremes of the underhood environment Im saying it should last longer than any battery located under the hood specially ones in the newer models which are AGM batteries which cost 2-$300 dollars . I bet most will go at least 7-8 years in this setup at the least unless you have ESS and do a lot of short around town driving and do not turn off ESS .
