2018 Durango SRT - Lift Kit?
I'm sure this will make some folks on here cringe, but has anyone put a lift kit on an SRT Durango? I really like the more aggressive look of lifted Durangos and want to know if there is anything unique about the SRT where a lift kit wouldn't work. Do the adaptive damping shocks/suspension mess up any of the kits available? I've sent an email to Rocky-Road.com but haven't heard anything back yet. I just got my 2018 SRT and would like a little more height on it. I knock my head on the tail gate every time I walk under it and never had this problem with my Jeep GC.

Got the response from the Rocky Road Outfitters. It looks like the lift is compatible. I'll probably be buying a kit sometime in the near future.
"Our components are all steel and carry a lifetime warranty.
You can swap in a top-fuel drag engine and you still couldn't damage our components. So no worries on your SRT ;^)
Probably not seeing them as most guys with your vehicle prefer a stock or even chopped stance... not an elevated, much cooler, stance... in our opinion.

As far as I'm aware, we can just put the kit on. I believe the control arms would be an added benefit, but not completely necessary because of the geometry on newer Durangos. At least that's what I interpreted out of the rocky road website and a number of random forum posts. When I purchase, I'll probably be getting them.

I can't imagine it would change the warranty other than the parts I directly modify. I've lifted a number of Chrysler/Dodge/Ram vehicles and never had a warranty problem for anything other than actual suspension components - most of which I replaced with better parts anyways. Is there something you are aware of that is hiding in the fine print of the warranty on these things that will jump out and bite me in the backside?
