Are the AMPs that is used for the Alpine premium system with sub the same or did the update them through the years so they delivery a better sound quality? O know they are interchangeable and have found one I might buy, however if they are the same quality as the 2011 I won't waste my money.

 

Have you checked for updates to your head unit? When I had my 2011 Durango with the upgraded audio there was an update for the head unit (I don't recall if that was also called UConnect like my current Ram or not) which did make a noticeable improvement in the audio quality.

I did update my uconnect stereo to the most recent update that is available for them. I was just curious if they improve the amp itself. If the amp delivers the power more efficiently.
